Janet Jackson
To
dress up a short and simple hairstyle, apply both a hydrating hair
lotion and a volumizing root-lifting spray before blow-drying with the
nozzle face up—hitting your hair not your scalp—to create volume and
lift.
If your locks are on the unruly side, use a frizz-control cream to tame your natural texture.

Kate Winslet
To
achieve an elegant and timeless updo, spray Paul Labrecque Volume Style
Root Lifting Spray to your roots and blow-dry your hair using a Paul
Labrecque large boar-bristle brush. Create a side part and sweep the
larger section over the side of your face. Leaving the front of your
hair loosely pulled back, divide three sections of your hair to form a
chignon at the nape of your neck. After pinning your locks back, spray
them with Paul Labrecque Volume Finish All Day Holding Mist.

January Jones
Go
Grecian with this stylishly twisted updo by applying Paul Labrecque
Repair Style Hydrating Hair Lotion prior to blow-drying your hair. After
it’s fully dried, separate your hair into sections starting from the
front in the center and working your way down to each side. Then,  braid
your hair from root to tip. Twist the ends around, pinning your hair in
different spots. Apply Paul Labrecque Volume Finish All Day Holding
Mist to keep flyaways in place.

Amy Adams
To
get this polished look, Mizu New York Salon stylist Dominick
Pucciarello says to avoid the blow-dryer and simply finger-dry your
hair. Then, make a side part and comb your hair to form a side ponytail
parallel to your part. To secure your hair in place, spray Oribe Dry
Texturizing Spray and gently tease the ponytail for added texture. “The
dry texturizing spray will soak up any excess oils and make hair easy to
secure,” says Pucciarello. After twisting the ponytail into a bun,
stick in bobby pins to hold it in place. Apply more spray if needed.

Kate Winslet
For
this classic look, celebrity hairstylist Sally Herschberger says to
apply Shagg Style Primer For Layered Hair of All Types to wet hair for
added texture. Spray the roots with SALON By Sally Hershberger Shape Up
and blow-dry hair in one-inch sections. Set each section in heated
rollers, pulling hair back and away from the crown. Let the rollers sit
for 20 to 30 minutes. Then brush your hair back, away from your face.
Apply a generous amount of hairspray and slightly tease hair at the
roots for a lift at the crown. Pull hair back and tuck it into a
bob-like shape. Secure the curled pieces with bobby pins and finish off
by spraying Sally Hershberger Star Shine.

Evangeline Lilly
To
get this flirty, curly hairstyle, Pucciarrello says to start by parting
your hair how you normally do. Curl your hair with a small to
medium-sized curling iron and pull it back into a low ponytail, leaving a
few curled pieces in the front. Pin your ponytail into a loose bun
until you get your look of choice. Add some texture and hold with Oribe
Dry Texturizing Spray.

Gwen Stefani
To
achieve this sophisticated updo, Pucciarello says to blow-dry your
bangs first. For added body, rub a pea-size amount of Oribe Crème for
Style through your bangs. Apply Oribe Maximista Thickening Spray to the
roots and blow-dry the rest of your hair for added lift. Brush back the
sides with a Mason Pearson brush and rub in another bit of Oribe Crème
for Style so your hair is tightly in place. “The top should have volume
so, if needed, lightly backcomb and brush over with the Mason Pearson
brush to smooth it out,” says Pucciarello. Twist your ponytail into a
light French twist, securing it with hairpins. Finish off with Oribe
Superfine Hair Spray.

Emily Blunt
Pucciarello
says to flip your head over before blow-drying it to get the necessary
volume for this chic updo. Apply Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray all over
your hair and tease the front section of your crown. Spray Oribe
Superfine Hair Spray onto the brush and lightly comb your hair back into
a low ponytail. Lifting the ponytail straight up, stick bobby pins
underneath, causing the ponytail to flop over them. Secure the rest of
your hair with bobby pins “to create a modern and young look,” says
Pucciarello.

Courteney Cox
To
get this sexy, sophisticated updo, Pucciarello says to create a part
and separate the front of your hair into sections. Form a messy bun with
your remaining locks and secure it with hair pins. Use hairspray and
pull out some pieces for a messier, but still polished look. Then, take a
1 ½-in curling iron and curl your front hair sections away from your
face.  Finish off your ‘do by applying Oribe Anti-Humidity Spray.

Julie Bowen
To
get this elegant look, Hershberger says to apply Style Primer for Wavy
Hair into wet hair. Next, blow out your hair using your fingers as a
brush. Then, take a 1-in curling iron, wrapping random sections of hair
around it, away from your face. Spray SALON By Sally Hershberger Body
Fix for instant lift and a fuller style. Pull pieces back into a loose,
messy chignon. Secure with bobby pins and apply a spritz of Genius Wax
hairspray for serious hold.

Heidi Klum
For
a twist on a classic style, Hershberger says to spray wet hair with a
light thickening mist like Plump Up. Fully blow out hair with a round
brush, starting from the nape of the neck. Pull hair away from your face
and flip up the ends of each section. Secure dry hair in a high
ponytail at the top of your head andlet down the pieces of hair which
frame your face. Next, mist the pony tail with Sally Hershberger Major
Body Volumizing Hairspray to build volume and hold. Then, tease sections
of the hair to add even more fullness. Divide hair into two sections
and loosely twist the halves of the ponytail around each other; hold
firmly and wrap into a bun, pinning as you go.

Jennifer Aniston
Starting
on hair that’s been blow-dried straight, use your hands to loosely pull
hair into a ponytail, letting some of the hair fall in the front to
create side-swept bangs. The most flattering ponytail is placed at the
crown of the head, but aligned upward from the ears. This gives an
instant face lift, flattering cheekbones and drawing attention to eyes.
Use a hooked elastic as your pony holder, which doesn’t tear hair and
allows you to control how tight the holder is, suggests celebrity
stylist Ken Paves.

Cate Blanchett
To
achieve this elegant updo, apply SALON By Sally Hershberger Luxe Layers
to wet hair. “This will add body and moisture, while protecting hair
from heat damage,” says Hershberger. Next, add Shagg Style Primer for
Layered Hair to boost definition. Blow-dry hair with a large round brush
and place medium Velcro rollers throughout your head. Pull your hair up
and back around the rollers and let it set for 20 minutes. Next, take
out rollers and loosely brush your hair with your fingertips, separating
the curled sections. Finally, pull back your hair into a loose
ponytail, wrapping the hair into a loose bun and adding pins for a
secure hold. Finish off the look with a quick spritz of Sally
Hershberger Major Body Volumizing Hairspray.

Evangeline Lilly
Starting
on air-dried hair, use a 2-in curling iron to curl large sections of
hair in alternating directions—some toward the front and some toward the
back for an effortless look, recommends Paves. Next, parting hair from
ear to ear, pull each side at the crown of the head and secure with
bobby pins. Finish by spraying with a lightweight hairspray to keep it
in place.

Courteney Cox
To
create texture for the chignon, start on air-dried hair and use a 2-in
curling iron to curl large sections of hair. Once complete, coat hands
with a shine serum and run fingers throughout hair from root to tip,
breaking up curls with fingers, suggests Paves. Part hair in the middle
and using a Mason Pearson paddle brush, smooth sides into a low chignon
at the nape of the neck. Secure with bobby pins to keep it in place.
Finish the look with a strong-hold hairspray to keep flyaways at bay.

Jessica Simpson
Starting
on air-dried hair, use a 2-in curling iron on large sections to create
waves in the mid-shaft of hair. Keep the roots and ends smooth. “This
gives hair texture without looking set,” says Paves. Next, spray some
texturizing spray on just the roots and tousle hair with fingers. Then,
tease the hair slightly in the crown for a 60's vibe and pull hair into a
ponytail using a hooked elastic band.

Carrie Underwood
Start
on hair on that has been blow-dried straight and use a frizz serum on
specific sections to combat any flyaways. Next, create a deep side part
and pin hair at the ear, creating a faux side-swept bang. Then, pull
hair into a ponytail at the crown and secure using a hooked pony holder.
“To complete the look, add in my Hairdo Wrap Around ($49:
Extensions.com) that attaches to your own pony and features a 1-in piece
of hair that will wrap around your own,” suggests Paves.

January Jones
Begin on air-dried hair and spray the roots with a texturizer to achieve that glamorous 60's era–style. Next, lift hair at the root and dry it with a round brush to create a side part and volume at the crown. Then, with a large curling iron, curl sections downward, spraying with hairspray. Set with large duckbill clips until your hair is cool. Once cooled, remove the pins, spritz and brush it through to create more volume. This also breaks up the curling-iron set, while the moisture from the spray enhances your natural texture. Separate the hair at the crown and sides and gather hair at the nape and pin in place.
Sarah Jessica Parker
To
get this 60’s-inspired ‘do, Miko Branch, co-founder of Miss Jessie’s
hair care and salons, says to tease your hair at the crown for volume
and pull your hair from the sides toward the back. From the left side of
your head leading into center back, secure hair vertically with bobby
pins. Form your remaining hair in a tight roll, while allowing pieces of
hair to fall out. Secure the roll with hairpins and continue to loosen
some hair for more of a laid-back look.

Kate Beckinsale
To
get this regal updo, Branch says to apply a dime-sized dab of Miss
Jessie’s Quick Curls to the sides of your hair to keep it in place.
Finger-comb your hair back and use an Ouchless hair band to create a
high ponytail. Take small sections of your ponytail and create curls by
loosely rolling each section around your pointer fingers. Secure curls
using hairpins.

Carrie Underwood
Recreate
this classic hairdo with a large-barrel curling iron for loose curls,
saysBranch. Make a diagonal side part and comb the front of your hair
down and over for a side sweep. Keep the volume in the crown of the head
and secure the side sweep on both sides using hairpins or a decorative
slide comb.

Jessica Alba
To
get this carefree chignon, Branch says to apply Miss Jessie’s Quick
Curls to damp hair and scrunch it. Let your hair dry or use a diffuser
to play up your natural texture. Make an invisible side part with your
finger and direct your hair into a low ponytail, securing it with an
Ouchless hair band. Form a bun and stick in hairpins to hold the ‘do.
Pull some tendrils loose in the front for an effortless look.

Angelina Jolie
To
get this sultry hairstyle, Branch says to make an invisible diagonal
part near the center of your hair. Use your fingers to create volume at
the crown and loosely direct the upper portion of your hair toward the
upper back of your head. Secure in place with hairpins.

 Kate Hudson
To
get this carefree chignon, Branch says to first use Miss Jessie’s Quick
Curl in damp hair to seal your hair’s natural texture. Create loose
curls using your fingers, starting from the top of your head. Pull at
the sides a little more to emphasize natural lift. Arrange the your hair
into a distressed bun and use hairpins to keep your new ‘do in place.

Kate Beckinsale
This
hairstyle calls for lots of volume, so Branch says to bend your head
forward and finger comb your hair starting from the nape of your neck
and ending at your hairline. As you raise your head, whip your hair
back, causing a natural lift at your crown. Pull the sides back and roll
your hair into a vertical tube, creating a French roll. Secure with
hairpins and apply Miss Jessie’s Curly Meringue hairspray.

Debra Messing
To
get this Bardot-inspired updo, Branch says to first create an invisible
diagonal side part with your fingers. Then, tease your hair at the
crown to create lift. Use hair from the sides and back to create a
tight-twist updo, while still maintaining the lift in the crown. Use
hairpins to keep your hairdo in place.

Debra Messing
For
this edgy ponytail, Branch says to use a wide-tooth comb to create a
side part on slightly damp hair. Take a quarter size amount of Miss
Jessie’s Curly Meringue and brush the product in from root to tip. “This
will give you the hold you need without having a wet look,” says
Branch. Blow-dry the ponytail to achieve a sleek, stylish, straight ‘do.

Victoria Beckham
To
achieve this super-chic look, Theodore Leaf, Suave Professionals
Celebrity Stylist, says to apply Suave Professionals Dry Shampoo
throughout hair to create texture. Using a rattail comb, tease the base
of hair working toward the back for fullness. Pull hair into a ponytail
and twist it, leaving the ends facing down. Tuck ends into the twist and
secure with bobby pins. Pull out a few strands to give this look a soft
 and modern feel.

Eva Longoria
To
get this beautiful side bun, Leaf says to apply Suave Professionals
Sleek Anti Frizz Cream on damp hair to leave it smooth. For an extra
boost to your roots, add a small amount of Suave Professionals
Volumizing Mousse. Blow-dry hair with a large round brush while lifting
hair at the crown. Create a loose ponytail to one side and secure with
an elastic band. Wrap a few sections of your hair around the bun and
secure with bobby pins. Finish with Suave Professionals Touchable Finish
 Extra Hold Hairspray.

Tina Fey
To
get this flirty ponytail, Leaf says to apply Suave Professionals
Touchable Finish Lightweight Hold Hairspray and use a 1 ½-in curling
iron to curl the middle and end parts of the hair. Spray the roots with
Suave Professionals Touchable Finish Extra Hold Hairspray and tease the
base. Part your hair to the side and pull it into a ponytail with a hair
band. Wrap a small section of hair around the band and finish off with
Extra Hold Hairspray.

Jennifer Connelly
To
create this chic hairdo, Leaf says to spray Suave Professionals Dry
Shampoo on the roots of hair that was last washed the day before. Tease
roots to create volume around the crown. Take a horizontal section from
ear to ear and gather the upper part of the hair into the low center,
securing with bobby pins. Twist the lower hair section into a French
twist, laying it on top of the already pinned hair. Secure with pins and
apply Suave Professionals Touchable Finish Extra Hold Hairspray to
secure flyaways.

Jennifer Lopez
To
get this glamorous updo, Luke O’Connor, Suave Professionals Celebrity
Stylist, says to apply Suave Professionals Volumizing Mousse on
towel-dried hair. Blow-dry hair with a medium to large round brush for
fullness. Tease the base of your hair all over, make a center part and
gather up your hair into a high ponytail. Tease the ponytail and flip
the end of the ponytail under, securing it with a bobby pin. “Be
creative and let some pieces fall out for softness,” says O’Connor. For
extra hold, apply Suave Professionals Touchable Finish Lightweight Hold
Hairspray.

Jessica Simpson
To
achieve this laidback braid, apply Suave Professionals Volumizing Root
Boost Spray to towel-dried hair. For body, use Suave Professionals
Volumizing Mousse. Finger-comb your hair to the side and braid down the
side, securing it with an elastic band. “Pull the braid wide and uneven
for that bohemian-chic look,” says O’Connor. Finish the ‘do off with
Suave Professionals Touchable Finish Super Hold Hairspray.

Emily Blunt
To
get this sophisticated bun, apply Suave Professionals Sleek Anti Frizz
Cream to towel-dried hair. Brush your hair back to form a low center
ponytail and twist the ponytail into a bun. “If you twist the ponytail
and keep twisting, it will twist into itself and give you the perfect
chignon,” says O’Connor. Secure your look with a hairpin and Suave
Professionals Touchable Finish Extra Hold Hairspray.

Carrie Underwood
To
achieve this flirty ‘do, O’Connor suggests washing your hair with Suave
Professionals Aloe + Ginseng Volumizing Shampoo and Conditioner.
Blow-dry hair and use Suave Professionals Volumizing Root Boost Spray
for extra volume. Curl large sections of hair with a 1 ½-in curling iron
to create soft waves. Tease 1/2-in of hair and lightly brush it back.
Secure your ‘do with Suave Professionals Touchable Finish Extra Hold
Hairspray.
